I always felt drawn toward that tree. Even in the winter when it was just a bare skeleton. But this was the first time I really had the chance to admire its beauty in full. The first day of May.
After several long weeks of gloomy downpours or midday drizzles... or before that when the world was blanketed in white and we all hid our faces from the biting chills of the wind... this was the first time this year when the world suddenly became more colorful. Most of the time, I don’t realize how powerful words are. Then there are times when I'm sitting bored out of my mind and I start day dreaming about some stupid girly shit and I realize that some of the best sentences I’ll ever hear in my life are made up of two or three words. “I love you” and “I do” come to mind the easiest but I remember when I got my first college acceptance letter and as I opened the envelope, I pulled out a thick folder with only three words on it: “YOU GOT IN!” and I remember feeling so elated like my world had opened up and all these opportunities had presented themselves
